As well as giving workshops and formal training to groups and educational organisations, Fiona also offers bespoke coaching in gardening and horticulture. In addition, she gives presentations and talks.

Fiona has considerable experience teaching and training adults. Contexts include:
- teaching RHS Certificate in Horticulure at Capel Manor College, London
- training and supporting volunteers, both in education and horticulture
- bitesize training to community groups on a range of horticultural topics
- working with individuals and households to develop their gardening expertise and confidence
- teaching, and training teachers, in language and literacy
She has the standard qualification for teaching adults (PGCE post-16) obtained from the Institute of Education, University of London, and a level 3 coaching qualification from the Insitute of Leadership and Management.
